The answer is yes, it does. But as NPR explains, this 8.6 quake that occurred, dubbed a 'rogue quake,' hardly went noticed at all.

The Earth Informer is back

It's been a busy few months. Earth Informer took a hiatus since January of this year to work on some other projects. My other websites are CoalSpeaker.com and HorrorReport.com. Plus that I have a day job, and a a REAL full time job of being a husband and father to a two-year-old. This, coupled with updating three websites, was enough for me that I lost focus on Earth Informer and I did not want to put out information and material that was second rate. The last thing I want this website to do is become a drifting dead end online.

I have made a conscious decision recently to place more emphasis on this website and broadcast only the best and most cutting edge material from this planet and beyond that I can find.

Over the past several months, we have certainly missed some vital information. It's my hope and trusted belief that you found the information from other sources.

It was my original hope that EarthInformer.com would be a reservoir for not only bad but also good information about our strange world, our bizarre galaxy, and our mysterious universe. We are nothing but specks on a pale blue dot in the middle of a vast and endless existence. What are we? Why are we? Where are we? There may be no answers to those questions, but EarthInformer strives to find a few answers, or at least pieces of information, that can help us along the way in finding an answer.

So now, after a few months, I am trying to give this site a much needed re-birth.

It's my hope that you will check in with us, daily at best, and click on sponsors and read our information. This is an independent website, and one that hopefully will become a trusted source of information in your lives.
