Sunspot 1515 still filled with life and flares: Thursday evening update
Moderate solar flares have continuously been emitting from sunspot 1515..
The latest took place today and registered at a M1.6.
Watchers worried that it could have sprung from it an X class flare but at this time that has yet to materialize.
There were four CMEs hurled from the sun on July 4--and it now appears at least one of them will affect Earth by July 7 causing high latitude sky watchers to see some strong auroras..
.. keep checking your favorite space weather websites for details.
